Pepsi is an American multinational food, snack, and drink corporation. They distribute their products to over 200 countries worldwide and is the second largest drinks and snack manufacturing company in the world. In addition, they have roughly 270,000 employees.
They wished to launch a marketing campaign to help promote one of their products, Pepsi Max, to one of their target audiences, festival goers.
Festivals is a large target market for the company, however the challenge for them is that it is highly saturated. Festivals all over the world sell a wide variety of drinks. As well as other soft drinks, they also sell energy drinks and alcoholic drinks.
Festivals are fun places to be at with your friends. Therefore, we aimed to make a fun film to show the festival culture. We collaborated with a London based film production company to create this short festival film where Pepsi invented a friend finder drone which helped festival goers reconnect with their friends if they lost them within the crowd.
Our aim was to show how Pepsi Max, a sugar free soft drink is a great alternative to have at a hot, busy music festival. As a result, this has raised sales of the product at festivals all over the world.
